Rohit Sharma is an Indian cricketer born on April 30, 1987 in Nagpur. He is a right-handed middle order batsman, sometimes turning bowls right arm. He received his primary education from Our Lady of Vailankanni High School, Mumbai, and because of his talent, he was offered a scholarship at the Swami Vivekananda International School, where he continued his studies. His impressive performances in the Giles and Harris Shield school cricket tournament paved way for its selection for the Mumbai Under-17 team. Soon Rohit Sharma was included in the India U-17 and U-19 teams in India.
